The majority of time at camp is spent doing drills that enhance the ability of the hitter, baserunner, and defensive player. Situational play is stressed, with the mental aspects of baseball given heavy emphasis. Games are played daily with individual attention to players strengths and weaknesses.
With over 50 acres, Baseball Country serves as one of the south's premier facilities for professsional instruction, yet also provides plenty of fun outside of the game of baseball. The purpose of Baseball Country is to teach the fundamentals of the game it takes to win, yet also giving campers a unique opportunity to just relax and have fun in a place that God's beauty is constantly in focus.
