Professional Training & Development
The off-seasons are when playing careers are defined. Some are forced to work and lift between shifts, while others are able to live off their bonuses or pay from the season and can afford personal training. The difficult task is finding other players around that will encourage, push and hold one another accountable during the few months where no one is monitoring. Here at Baseball Country we have a solution that will not only help you on the field, but off the field as well. Our facility can currently house 54, is equipped with a 10,000 sq ft indoor facility, players lounge, language lab and one Major League size field. Our training equipment is predominantly Rogue and Keiser. We have staff comprised of former MILB and MLB players that have the heart to not only instruct, but most importantly mentor.
Our primary focus at BC is based around three pillars, Purpose, Process and Perspective. The Purpose phase is speaking directly into the heart of our players. Our goal is to not only encourage them to compete/live for something greater than self, but we also equip them with the tools to live that purpose out. The Process phase is not only addressed through baseball specific training but also courses designed by current and former Special Ops Forces to help the players gain confidence in the face of adversity. Finally, Perspective is geared around pouring into the lives of those in need, both physically and emotionally. We have mentorship programs set up for players to engage in with middle school and high school boys that are in desperate need of positive male role models.
This program runs on a weekly basis where players can come and go whenever their schedule permits. Lodging, meals and all training will run the players $750 per week. We also have work opportunities to help in cost reduction.
